Sweat 18th birthday

Nyehehe so yesterday was a celebration for Suet’s birthday, which was today. Sorry for the lack of updates as complained by certain parties during yesterday’s party, but my finals are inevitably far more important than blogging.

To make up for the lack of life and therefore fun/enjoyment in reading in my recent entries, this entry will have tons of pics from yesterday’s party. Which, if you have an inferior computer and connection, may take 106,612,639 seconds to load.

Also new to this entry (and subsequent ones) is the ‘excerpt’ feature, which means that you won’t have to view all 19 photos I’ve uploaded for this entry alone, the moment you load my blog. :) Do you not think I’m being kind out of my way, especially since I pity those with inferior computers and inferior Internet connection? :(

Anyway, here’s a pic of my collegemates and my previous trip to Kim Gary.

Friday night went to Shawn’s house to play mahjong as usual, additional members being Fang Chyuan, and Daniel, Kai Tzin, Suet and Esther who dropped by after just to hang around.

Saturday at about 7.15, when Ding and Kai Tzin came to my house, I went off to picked up Ah Fang and off we went to Taipan’s Secret Recipe to get the blueberry cheese cake.

I had just finished parking my car (right in front of Secret Recipe, no less) when the rest went down earlier, and on meeting up with them again, Daniel was stuck on what to write on the cake.

It didn’t take me long (cough) to think of a suitable preface, knowing Suet all these years. So in the end we came up with:

We reached Suet’s house at almost 8pm, being the first ones to arrive. After awaiting for the rest to finally drop by, we began devouring on the pizzas and Shawn’s home-cooked cheese chicken flavoured with rosemary and thime (yes I’ve no idea what they look like), which was absolutely salivating.

So there were a few groups spread out in Suet’s house, one at the dining table chattering away, one in front of the telly watching Liverpool win, and another at her computer watching silly Youtube videos, including an Indian Superman.

And another engaging in the international tournament of pool. The box says, “For kids 3 years and above”. I made that up.

Then when it was about 11.40pm, we went to Tanjung USJ9 for the sole purpose of embarassing her by singing Happy Birthday in 3 different languages.

Fit also related all the interesting things to-dos and cannot-dos of puasa, in a very amusing and silly manner. :)

Heng needed to go home as he had to work the next day, so Suet, Jess, Heng and Shawn was driven by Esther (who just obtained her P license, kononnya never pao) in Shawn’s Saga, to be taken for a hell ride. In fact when they failed to return 20 minutes later because Heng’s house was just 2 minutes away from Tanjung, we actually feared that they might:

1. fall into the nearby large and deep monsoon drain, resulting in a collapsed car and several broken limbs (and maybe a broken skull or two)
2. crashed into another vehicle, resulting in a very angry Shawn, a distressed Esther, and several traumatised passengers

   The latter was true wtf, when I phoned them and Shawn replied that she was driving slowly. Kai Shen who was in the same driving school as Esther observed that this was normal, considering how their driving instructor forbade them from driving above 20-30 kmph WTF.

   No wonder Esther can pass driving test without pao-ing!

   After they failed to return minutes later, we phoned them again and Shawn replied that they were all waiting for Esther to come down from her house, changing her pads or something. Whether that was true or exaggerated was something left to be discovered.

   We had Shawn’s assurance of “5 minutes lah” and being Malaysians, such timing is predictably way off. We left after Fit devoured the remainder 1/4 of the blueberry cheesecake and paid the bills of the mamak (mostly RB) after the rest left without paying. >__>

   So we went to the cybercafe behind my house and played CS in fy_iceworld_cz for an hour. So very satisfying despite being the last of my Terrorist team, and 3rd last overall among 8 of us. :D It was long since I actually played a satisfying CS game.

   Reached home at almost 2.30am. And I had wanted to leave earlier to study my Econs too. >_>
