17 Nov 2004 5:12 pmWent with Jon to KLCC..to watch The Incredibles, I have four free tickets with me, courtesy of Xfresh, but two were given to me from Jess, and another from Geok Leng who both can’t make it.
Unfortunately, Joe and Barry backed out =/ so we have another extra two, unused. We wanted to sell/give away for free to some people over there, but then we felt lazy to do so >_> And the queue to enter the special screening was long, although not that many people (about 60-70).
It doesn’t have a fixed seat, but we didn’t rush, and still managed to get a good seat :D And before the show starts, Xfresh decided to hold yet another prize-giving session to those who answers questions correctly (they get some Incredibles bagpack), and those who rush to grab some white T-shirts (Incredibles I presume).
And here’s the best part: 5 Swatch watches worth about RM500 each (according to the Xfresh.fm DJ there). And it’s another rush session. Not many people seem to be running to the front seat where the guy was, so I ran down, and heard his voice droning in my ears, “The first five who managed to touch my hand.”
He was standing on the front seat, and tip-toed. Three people already got it. I tried and touched his hand and managed to do so but another girl got it first. Four watches gone. I then stood as tall as I can on the seat and touched his hand. “And this dude got the last watch.”
It didn’t immediately dawned upon me that I won something worth RM500, even after I retrieved my prize. But it sank in when I saw Jon’s face and he said “Good job!”, and I sat down next to him.
Funny though XD Didn’t really expect it..so I practically smiled throughout the show and enjoyed it, despite watching it already the night before.
But the watch is a lil too big for my scrawny hand, so I guess I’ll have to give it to my father for his birthday next 2 weeks. Or maybe I can try it on myself once again and see how it fits nicely. XD
‘Twas fun :D Jon suggested walking back from KL to our home - which I enthusiastically said “SURE!”, but then he decided against it ‘cause “someone might rob us”. :P Last train to KTM Subang Jaya station was already gone; we reached KL Sentral at 11.30pm, last train was at 11.01pm XD
So we took LRT instead..it was scheduled to leave at 11:40pm. We went to the Kelana Jaya station and my dad picked us up from there.
