5 Sep 2005 1:10 pmWe began our EST Paper II (objective questions) with the assembly blaring their fucking noises (as usual) with the sole intent to disturb us fifth formers from concentrating on their exam. Thank god it’s an EST paper (should be easy, but it was somehow harder this time).
“During a terrible storm in January 1995, a huge chunk of ice as big as PUT ON YOUR TIE NOW an island broke off the edge of Antarctica and COME OUT HERE NOW floated away. Researchers have found the cause. As the summers got warmer I SAID COME OUT HERE NOW, [insert lala’s name], the top of the ice sheets melted…”
Yep, the perfect setting for concentration alright.
The two Bio papers were… demoralising after seeing smarties like Chee Hee answering with perfect ease.
So Shawn and Heng Li came over to my house to study Add Maths at about 3.30pm today. It didn’t go on well because I have:
a) Brandon
b) no proper table
with the former being the most annoying, as I discovered my door actually un-lockable by force. Then at about 6pm, after mum finally dragged him out of my room, Shawn, who was sitting on my comfortable chair-with-wheels, leaned on one side and… guess the outcome.
A resounding thunderous crash, with two broken wheels split cleanly in half. I’ve told Shawn if the chair ever breaks, the first thing we’d do is laugh at him first and demand payment later. Which I did.
Mum said “never mind”, but I demanded at least a half price (of about RM50) of that favourite chair of mine I always use while sitting in front of the computer. And I’m using some hard, totally back-breaking chair right now.
Heng went back at about 6.30pm, Shawn went back at 8.30pm after eating Ramli’s for dinner. Was feeling a bit sleepy, and tired -- this routine insane long hours of studying.
Something made me smile today as I went online. That nifty gmail’s new-mail notification popped up and I saw four distinct Chinese characters.
It’s Toshi XD Didn’t think he’d e-mail back after almost a month of absence of any reply, thought he might completely forget us by now. But as requested by him:
