The Corrs – Live in Geneva

This DVD package arrived last 2 weeks or so, specially ordered from someone at a Corrs forum over the Net. He sold it to me for cheap (which includes shipping fees), at about USD$32.

I love the packaging.

And the disc!

Watching The Corrs performing at Geneva was quite a mesmerising experience. I don’t have a ‘favourite’ band for nothing: these siblings are downright, naturally beautiful, and with the different instruments that they actually play, and songs written and composed by themselves, I have all the perfect reasons to idolise, adore, and respect them.

I was watching the 2nd half of the concert crystal-clear in my parents’ room on the telly when I was sick yesterday, and listening to So Young playing ‘live’ completely healed me, even if it was just mentally. With songs like the traditional Irish Old Town, the hit pop song Breathless, and sensational classic What Can I Do, I loved every minute of immersing myself in front of the telly.

You might think it’s not worth the money to purchase it, but hey it’s my money and if it makes me happy, why not? ;)

Now if only I have a hi-fi set to complete the experience…

hehe you’ve heard of Old Town too? Eh damn syok la their songs. Next time I bring the DVD (and er I’ve to shamefully admit I’ve a few of their pirated DVDs of them in concerts) to your house or something and we can watch together. =)
