26 Jul 2005 9:53 amBelow is a synopsis of an episode of the most under-rated, under-appreciated television drama on Earth, “The Dark Ages of SMK USJ 8”, and if you loathe spoilers as much as I do, please be forewarned. Today’s latest episode in its 5th season, “Japanese Student Conflict”, is produced, and written by the same people called Daily Life, the latest episode stars main characters Clem and Wai Hong, with the evil villain and its cohorts being Ruby and her administration staffs.
It was school day as usual, and after recess was a rather good seminar/talk on Add Maths by one of our own teachers, Miss Ong. As Clem had finished reading the last 80 pages of Harry Potter’s 6th book in under 3 hours (considering the fact he is a very slow-reader), he went to bed at 2am yesterday. The lack of sleep made him slipped into dreams as soon as reached his class after the seminar, and was pulled to the staff room by Shawn and Wai Hong after school ended at 2pm.
They were supposed to ask Miss Then, their Photography Club teacher, about bringing in Toshimitsu-kun tomorrow to their jamuan, as well as sorting out some stuffs on buying food tomorrow. Miss Then kindly said that it’s not within her power to decide, and suggested that they ask Pn Cheng, who, probably due to the script-writer’s adept ability in plot, appeared from the staff’s room’s staircase. She appeared to be slightly rude when Miss Then wants to talk to her, saying, “No no not now, I’ve a meeting now” and “Why are you all discussing like this?” and “No no, I cannot overrule Pn Rubiah.”
Thanks to Life’s hands in this particular episode, who should appear but Pn Rubiah from the stairs and Pn Vasantha from her room almost at the exact same time! Both Clem and Wai Hong, who were already in Ruby’s bad books, looked away immediately in any other direction than Ruby’s. After Pn Vasantha filled Miss Then in what happened, Pn Rubiah strided across past Clem and Wai Hong, muttering something while Clem looked away, appeared to be in deep disgust while Wai Hong called after Pn Rubiah to apologise.
According to both Miss Then and Pn Vasantha, both of their names had popped up during meeting (notoriously) and during casual chats. Apparently Ruby is hurt by our actions, and Miss Then said it’ll be better for both Clem and Wai Hong to apologise. PnV, who received a letter from Lions, said she would be contacting the appropriate jabatan about this soon. Wai Hong was apparently rude in the eyes of both teachers (Clem thought he wasn’t).
That concluded today’s episode of The Dark Ages of SMK USJ 8.

Would I apologise for something I wasn’t aware I was doing wrong? I wasn’t rude to dear Ruby (in her face), and I sure as hell wouldn’t say sorry for that. No.
