22 Oct 2006 3:59 pmI know it’s quite uncharacteristic for me to be not blogging for more than three days, but I have a perfectly legitimate excuse reason to do so - nope, two reasons:
1) I was involved in my club’s organised Halloween night, so on Thursday I was in college from 8am-8pm (for a class in the morning that was cancelled without notice -__-), then on Friday night.. that was the big day.
2) Final Fantasy XII-ing the entire Saturday and today. The leaked version, ‘course. Not to mention how I wasted my time travelling to Summit thrice in total to change the bloody disc when it wouldn’t load (the last 2 times, certain scenes wouldn’t play), and how, in my dad’s coaxed endeavour this morning to help me clean the PS2’s lens, accidentally took out the ribbon cable from its original position and now my PS2 wouldn’t play. T____T Joe kindly lent his PS2 to me while mine undergoes repair!! <3 ya Joe.
I don’t want to delve into too much detail about how the Trick or Treat event on Friday night went, but I can tell for sure that what I had snubbed before as “stupid haunted houses” during schools’ Canteen Days and whatnot, I now know the amount of effort and work put into trying to scare the living daylight out of people, in which out of 10 groups we really only scared about 2.

My booth with Alfred (for our Murder Mystery game), dealing with worms, where participants have to hunt a specified amount of coins within the deluge of terribly disgusting crawlies which I have no interest in touching.

Yi Jia (dunno how to spell her name) with a borrowed vampire cloak. Very cool!

Jasmine, Yi Jia, Mei Qi.

Winner of Best Dressed (Female)! Always expected kids to win, heh.

Group pic! Spot me with Yen’s horns!

Bryant, Jo Vie (thought she dressed up really nicely), Alfred.

The devil wearing Nike and Jo Vie. Ironically, another CSO member, who dressed up in a rented RM50 Grim Reaper costume was wearing a pair of Nikes too.
Went to Tanjung with my ex-high school mates after picking up Andy after speeding to his house at top speed as I was already incredibly late when I left Metro at about 11.35pm-ish, and whatdyaknow, it rained!
We left for Jess’ house and hanged around watching telly, especially the programme entitled “Man vs Beast” or something of that sort.
---
Went to Fang Chyuan’s house today at about 6pm to get past the area where it wouldn’t load, even on Joe’s PS2. =/
---
As you can see, the preparation on the final two days wore me out, even more the rest of our team. My utter relief when the event finally commenced was indescribable, because heck I can finally concentrate on both my new upcoming subjects and completing Final Fantasy XII. :)
And, as in any clubs and organisations, I learnt there will always be politics and all manners of internal conflicts.
