Quick post before I sleep. I’ll be immensely busy this week and the next in preparation for my tests (not to mention there’s that addictive online game called CabalSEA).
Saturday evening, Shawn, Andy, and Ding dropped by to lepak while I was multi-tasking between studying my Macroecons and playing Cabal.

My youngest brother entered my room and proceeded to annoy the heck out of them hahaha and he was enjoying himself tremendously as depicted in the picture.
That night itself, Ding fetched Andy and me to Shawn’s house at about 10.45pm, as Ding, Shawn, and I wanted to work on our Japanese homework while Andy wanted to lepak. Heng was there as well watching football on the telly.. suffice to say the television was quite distracting as we ended up watching Casino Royale although we managed to complete most of our work (which was actually minimal).
Then Shawn decided to prepare sashimi for us!!

Shawn the Naked Chef HAHAHAHAHA.

Every bit inviting.

Enhanced with a tinge of lemons. I need not say more ‘cause godddd I misssss eating sashimi (actually very simple to prepare heh, it’s just raw low-grade salmon). And it tastes so so so so damn good with the black (soy?) Japanese sauce that I want Shawn to prepare 10 kilos of sashimi for my future birthdays hahahaha.

Unfortunately, after frying the outer layer a bit for less than a minute each (with salt, olive oil, and pepper), the skin turns into an ugly brown that turns the previously delectable eye-catching red into a dull brazen brown. But it tastes EVEN better than before so yeah. :D

Had a small drinking session with Absolut Kurant + Ribena, talking mainly nonsense as usual while Heng related to us about the guy who lives by the doctrine of “bros over chicks”. I brought along my Absolut Mandrin on Andy/Ding’s request, but when we opened it up and mixed it with cordial orange it tasted a little awful.
Shawn, Heng, and I got a little tipsy, and then I slept on the couch while the rest continued to watch the telly. When I was woken up later and stood up, blood raced straight to my head, my heart started pumping like crazy, and I felt an odd combination of throwing up and dying. Really, I felt downright awful.
Got into Ding’s car, laid down diagonally to get proper rest, and when I reached my gates I stumbled out improperly trying to get my bearings straight. Had further difficulties trying to open my main door as I was fumbling around so much.. when I finally reached my room – get this – instead of plopping myself straight into bed, I actually went to Cabal for a while wtf as I was dummy-ing at that time. And chatted with Julia for a bit who contacted me about my previous Microecons assignment.
I’ve never been a great drinker, and probably never will. I suppose there are always the good and the bad with a low alcohol tolerance, in that we need lesser amount to get tipsy thus saving us from having to purchase too many bottles/cans. :P
