3 Mar 2007 5:33 amAs there were only lectures for this entire week (which I only need attending for two days, Monday there wasn’t any), I was caught up with what used to be my favourite pastime in my younger days – playing videogames.
I was trying to finish off The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on my Wii as soon as possible, since I already have that game for months and I barely scraped through half of the game. After endless hours on it (about 39 hours from the last time I saved), I’m finally nearing the end! :)
Suddenly it seems like a chore of wanting to finish the game because it’s a freaking pricey original of close to RM200. >_>
Also when Jon bought his black DS Lite and salivated all over it, I brought out my phat DS and revived efforts to find out why Final Fantasy III wouldn’t work on mine when it did previously – only to get it to run after tons of trial and error.
A little pictorial blogging on what happened in the past few days.
On Thursday, my collegemates celebrated Chai Huey’s birthday which falls on the 28th Feb:

Celebrated it at Burger King wtf – me, Andy, and Jo Vie bought the cake at Cake Sense nearby.

Birthday girl blowing the birthday cake.
At night, my ex-high school mates plotted over how to celebrate Jessica’s birthday with a bang, devising really elaborate plans from kidnapping her and dump her at park to throwing her with chicken stock – which in the end we did neither.
A bunch of us gathered at Taipan’s Old Town Kopitiam, before we went for the lok-lok stall nearby.

Syok sendiri.

The variety..

Hoho my favourite pic of the night.

Suet and Daniel with a wtf look.
We eventually gathered in 4 cars outside Jessica’s house (why do we always use ‘house’ when it’s really an apartment?) and barged in with her sister’s help.
A video on the entire house-crashing ceremony:

Jessica eating slices of her birthday cake.

Really delicious cakes specially ordered from Renaissance Hotel.
Yesterday, Andy suddenly invited a whole lot of us to his “close friend’s house” on the pretext of gambling. We were mind-boggled, because it does seem odd to invite a truckload of people to someone else’s house whom neither of us knew, when it was revealed to us that it’s his new house wtf.
And it’s freaking Boulevard!! That exclusive condo near SJMC and Holiday Villa.
No pictures taken as my camera was robbed borrowed by my parents that night. Suffice to say, it does seem like the perfect weekend house, or even a holiday one should any of us feel the need to get away from the busy schooling life (although of course it isn’t exactly appropriate since the jam-riddled roads are only a stone’s throw away).
We gambled and watched the classic Jurassic Park on the telly.
I went back earlier at 12am plus with Geok Leng and Sarah as I have a Mandarin class on 7am the next day for an early 1 hour replacement class, to replace the one I missed last week.
And what dya know, as bloody luck would have it, after waking up at 6 fucking am on a precious Saturday earlier, I arrived at 7am sharp (quite unusual of me) just to face closed doors. I SMSed my teacher and rang her a few times to no avail, before I resigned defeat to my treacherous luck and slept in my car.
I awoke when I heard the din of a nearby car at about 7.40am – I went to her and she asked why I was there so early wtf. She later explained that she SMSed me that the replacement class was cancelled and I somehow didn’t receive it.
If DiGi is at fault for this non-delivery, I am so switching over to Maxis.
