New look; thought it’s time to ditch the yellowish look now attached to saigoheiki.com, and browsing through the multitude of templates, I found this one to be exceptionally clean and simple; a design that emphasises on both content and navigation bar equally, a design that doesn’t require overtly fancy pretty-ful graphics that serves to deliver content.

My choice for the banner and its catchline speaks for itself. In the age of waliao-more-animated-graphics-and-pointless-sparkling-things is better, I’m taking the road less known by people. You may not get used to it - so do I - but new things need getting used to.

‘course, “the road less travelled by” doesn’t refer specifically to the choice of this design. It speaks of the journeys all of us might have undertaken collectively, choices we may not comprehend but chose them simply, reasons for these choices not known - but the fact remains that we’ve selected a choice, and thereby should stick by it, no matter how obscure, or how people might have put you down constantly, or belittled the choice you took.

There are some minor kinks I’m trying to correct at the time of writing (like how the archives and about sections wouldn’t load), so bear with me while I try to fix it. This is now fixed; I’ve removed Repository as well since I didn’t use it much.

After almost 8 months, saigoheiki.com has a new look now. And I, as its sole creator, mentor, parent and master, proudly present this to you.

Edit: Added this nifty feature/plugin, whereby comments by their odd and even numbers will output different coloured backgrounds, whereelse comments by the author will have an even different background colour. ;)
