Touching is good.

This blog will continue to resume its normal activities.

I’m feeling hyper now because I’m a proud owner of a sexy White Nintendo DS. A sexy white Nintendo DS.

Lalallallalalalaa.

Woke up today (yeah technically yesterday, so), feeling extremely nice. It’s that Christmas Eve sensation and what better to do than last minute shopping?

Went off to pick Jon and Andy at 12pm (didn’t stay long at the bank, since I had to wait over 100 people =__=), then went to 1Utama. Sifted through traffic jam, found ourself a parking lot thanks to Andy without much hassle.

Met up with Soon Guan there, and we then walked around for some time in search of good place to eat.

Some Christmas symphony going on at 1U.

As usual, being the adventurous ones and willing to dump loads of money (well, not a lot) on good food, we settled on Chili’s Bar.

We had to wait for a bit before there were tables available. The prices were mind-goggling, not because they were cheap…

Jon and Soon Guan watching telly.

Supposedly a bar!

Chicken monterey (or the other way round), both Andy and I ordered. It’s good, RM23, grilled chicken with cheese, with mashed potatoes (yum) and brocolli (UGH); my ice lemon tea was RM7 which I drank the entire thing in one gulp because I was trying to swallow a Panadol Actifast pill (freaking headache attacked me while I was driving, due to 10% blurry vision on left eye). Freaking chill of the drink, and tiny straw, caused much difficulty in swallowing said pill.

But thank god for free refills for Sprite and Coke!

Did our last minute Christmas shopping, and the torrent of people was unbelievable. I freaking overspent, out of my budget after I impulsively bought Christmas gifts that I didn’t mean to buy in the first place.

After Jon bought a tie for his dad (at MyTie), I decided to get one too since it’s 2 for RM30. Nice solid black one. And after more walking, got my mum a purple Arabian scarf for RM30 (was supposed to be RM50, heh). Don’t know whether the guy’s lying to me or not, said he’s giving me discount because baru bukak yesterday, so..

When I finally went to the game store concerned (to meet said shopkeeper who posted at the lowyat forum), was trying to determine who the heck was “Djinn”. Went up to one guy who sounded like the name, asked, “Is this Djinn’s shop?”, shook each other’s hands and I told him, “I’m Saigo.” >_>

That’s how you meet people after talking to them online, mates!

I also discovered I overspent and lacked RM30 to pay off for the DS and the original game I chose, Nintendogs: Lab & Friends. Had to borrow from Andy to pay a total of RM670. >_>

Damn fucking chun, wei.

After buying, did more random walking (freaking 1U is so big), then decided to hop on to The Curve again after we were bored. Less than 30 minutes we were there, we had to go back because Jon was rushing to go to church.

Jam!

Rained.

I’ll elaborate less on the traffic conditions, but a lash of rain slapped Bandar Utama and I could barely see the road metres ahead of me. Dropped Soon Guan off, went back to Subang via highway, dropped Jon to his house then his church, then finally settled at Andy’s at about 8pm, whose entire family was out.

While waiting for Jon at his house, did some camwhoring.

Jon appeared to be over-excited.

Finally played with my DS. Named my Miniature Schnauzer Mike; ‘twas pretty fun you know! :) Calling after your pet, teaching him tricks, etcetc. Via touch screen.

Touching is good, goes the tagline of the DS (‘cause it has a touch screen, mmm).

*hugs DS*

Rested a bit at Andy’s till 10pm before set out again to pick Heng up for mamak at Tanjung’s. Then we attempted to go to Pyramid to watch what was supposed to be some fireworks at midnight.

Long story cut short, after trailing around trying to avoid traffic jams (massive ones near Pyramid), tried to somehow sneak into Sunway Condominiums but failed because we, just couldn’t; we ended up parking at Esso and walking to the pedestrian bridge, situated right next to a monsoon drain and a construction site next to Pyramid.

Beautifullah, us three guys bonding, listening to the peaceful sounds of longkang water flowing like a coarse river, construction site with bright, bright lights still working with the crane at almost midnight. Perfect scenery, perfect place to spend your time right before Christmas strikes at 12am.

We saw two fireworks that were like kilometres away. Not those grand ones you see on New Year’s Eve, but probably those personal ones you buy illegally from some black market. What a freaking disappointment. No fireworks, all this boohaha over nothing.

Well, off to do some touching with my DS. :)

Cloud looks scary. :[

You got the version of Nintendogs that has the breed of dog that I used to have before it died! :D

Your DS is sexier than mine. ♥
