18 Jan 2007 4:44 amSo I was out on Monday night for a great swim at SLC. I initially fetched Wai Hong as well, but when I was almost out from the junction of his house, I made a U-turn back to his house again because he said he left his wallet and his handphone (and he didn’t bring his trunks either because he didn’t have one). Then I dropped him off for good as he said he couldn’t go back that late and expected us to swim at Court 8/10, lol.
The irony was, after fetching Heng, Andy, and Kai Tzin to SLC, I realised I forgot to bring my own trunks WTF. -_______- And I didn’t even bring additional pants with me since I didn’t want to go to gym, so after Kai kindly lent me his shorts, I followed Heng and Kai to the gym and er, work out.
The gym is one huge awkward playground because everyone else seems buffed and well-built and whatnot, even the women that prowl the place. I finally settled myself to the cycling machine thingy where I probably finally travelled all the way to Summit should I be actually sitting on an actual bicycle.
With my legs worn out, I walked around busybodying what the other two were up to, then Kai said he could lent me his trunks if I wanted. Woopedoo, I did several quick sit-ups then went to the changing room to fish out Kai’s trunks from his locker.. then er, realised it was a little too large for me to fit in. >_>

So I showered, and after returning the locker key to Kai and informed him my inability to fit into his trunks, I made my move to the pool, and watched around stealthily for guards. After talking to Andy for a bit, I jumped in wootwoot and the after-the-rain cold water that completely drenched me was bloody refreshing.

Bah sorry I didn’t set the exposure so it was quite dark. But it’s a lovely pool alright.
After a great swim and an equally great hot shower (again, I’ve been showering in cold water for the past 18 years and 11 months), we went to Asia Cafe for our very late dinner at 9.30pm-ish.

Again.. horrible exposure.
Lemongrass fried chicken rice recommended by Heng was quitequite good yumyum. Then we went back home, reaching at about 11pm.
Had some study group thingy with my collegemates on Tuesday after our revision class from about 1.30pm-4pm on accounting because it was bloody hard.
Yesterday at around 2.40pm-ish, I picked up Andy to McD’s to study. Halfway through the same yearning and craving for McFlurry M&Ms panged through and I resisted for a while till I can resist no more.

Heavenly.

Hoho testing out Ixion’s Color Accent [sic] feature where I can choose which particular colour to focus on, while making the rest of the picture black & white woot.

Complimentary free fries!

Bryan came at almost 5pm after losing his way for a bit.

Was er practising my Mandarin too.
Went back at 8pm plus.

I realised that the reason why I have been the way I was was because of a single person’s words. That person probably couldn’t remember what he/she had said, but it’s enough to put a great change to everything I believed in.
Not entirely that person’s fault, but sometimes, words could be so strong it could literally change a person’s life. Which is why I wholly believe in journalism, because if it can touch even a single person’s heart, you’ve already made a difference.

- demands a string of hearts, several seasoned travellers, and two pairs of sloppy sandals. More »
