28 Apr 2006 2:44 pmI felt a sense of completion and satisfaction when I made something with my own hands, especially when it turned out good. Two days ago I discovered something that turned my little white baby - my Nintendo DS - into a mini-PSP. With this nifty homebrew program called the MoonShell, I can easily play videos, music and view pictures and .txt files!
Talk about a handheld that does it all.
The program comes with what I thought as ugly skins, so, like, why not make one on my own? After googling about for nice pictures, I stumbled onto a few, meddled, Photoshopped and experimented for a few hours until I came out with a beautiful Kingdom Hearts 2-themed skin - Twilight!

Do you not love my baby now? Yeah, sure, the screen might be a tad bit smaller than the PSP to playback videos, and the speakers may not be as powerful, but you can’t have everything, can you?
The lack of entries these days is due to my bumming at home. I went for a haircut yesterday at iCube after mum nagged about my long hair (Andy said I looked lala-ish now v_v); went to Asa’s place briefly to collect an empty CD to burn for her; went back again to my own house when Andy and Daniel arrived shortly after, just to lepak.
Then after they went back, Esther came at 5pm to use the PC for a while to e-mail/upload pics which she discovered she didn’t need to after all. She left this rather thick PC magazine for me that she obtained from her workplace, saying she didn’t need it.
Went out again with Andy at night, with Ding and Kai Shen to the USJ 1 cybercafe for an hour of CS. They sadly suddenly did not have the usual maps we play (fy_iceworld_cz and awp_map2_cz), so we had to toy around with Italy and de_dust. A bit bleh at the near end when Ding and Andy camped. <_<
Went out again earlier this afternoon at 3pm to Sunway Pyramid with Ding and Andy.. Ding went out to shop with RM3 in his wallet. <_< Was looking for a wallet to purchase (finally got my Tiong Nam pay), but they’re either too ugly or too pricey (the pricier ones don’t really fancy me, both the price and the looks).
Went to SS15 for rojak/cendol on my tab, then.. went back.
Might sound bland and all, but these mini-outings I do enjoy. In about over a month’s time, every bit of these randomness is going away, and we bid hello to routine.
