Wake me up when September 15 begins

I spent a solid 6 hours studying throughout the day, Add Maths at McD with the usual study group (this time including Andy and Jessica) from 1-6, and then a bit of Bio at night. An achievement, somewhat, and there’s this nagging feeling that I will never see a freaking A for my Science subjects in my SPM, much less a B.

Biology is a subject I’m actually interested in, have passion for when studying, even though I won’t pursue a medical career, or any jobs that require Bio. My marks didn’t prove that, when marks for subjects like Physics were strangely higher.

Had fun earlier driving in Shawn’s Saga. It was definitely easier driving that than my family’s possession of MPVs, which are too big for my liking. Hard to gauge the distance as well when you reverse, etc. And it didn’t exactly boost my confidence when friends sitting in the same car went “assume crash position!” and “WARRRGHH STOP STOP STOP” and “WHOAMG HEART ATTACK”.

September 15. Advent Children. Released. In the US. 14th for Japan.

If I have a choice, I prefer to watch it in Japanese with English subtitles, than horrible English voices. Through experience, Japanese shows/videogames then brought over to the States in English dubs sucked. Squeaky, emotionless, highly unprofessional voice talents. But this being a huge Square-Enix project, I doubt they’ll let that happen… but still, I have my reservations.

Been looking forward to this movie ever since they announce its making. If you have played FFVII before, you’ll know what I mean. Watching the trailers…teasers at that, gives me an odd tickling sensation that makes one wanna cry. I have so much to look forward to this videogame-made movie, so much memories beheld within the story of Final Fantasy VII. Of their characters. Oh god, hear them talk. Tifa. Cloud. These characters were only talking in text.

It’s amazing to see these characters whom we know so well, previously in their ugly 3D models transformed to life-like beauty. The wonders of technology.

Listen to Tifa, watch her facial expressions. Good lord.

Watashitachi, omoide ni maketa no?

That infamous line made immortal through trailers. Were we defeated by our memories?
