“Baseball is fun!” Yum. Having Toshi, the Japanese youth exchange student hosted by Wai Hong, around lightens up things considerably around us, and… we gotta make full use of his presence till next Thursday.
Yesterday, after our delicious Photography Club meal (Miss Then was twice more careful than I am on the road) in our school canteen, Shawn and I went to Wai Hong’s house to hang around with Toshi… a few rounds on Grand Turismo 3, then out we went first to my house and opposite my house to play some baseball. Quite fun. :D
After our tuition, Wai Hong’s mother (on our suggestion) dropped Toshi off at Syed Ariff, where we proceed to eat and drink some traditional mamak food with Jon. Then the three of us minus Jon walked back under the dark night, stopped by at Shawn’s house initially, whom then drove us to Heng Li’s house to take a look at Aldo, the star attraction of Heng’s house.
The four of us set off for a wild night ride (okeh… not exactly wild) to Taipan (nothing much to show him, save for the abundance of restaurants), followed by the MPSJ stadium. We jumped across the fence illegally, and watched a little bit of the footie match going on, then Shawn fetched us back home.
And today.. right after our most interesting seminar (Biology) to date, Toshi was dropped off at our school and a few of us went playing baseball with him: me, Wai Hong, Heng Li, Shawn, Ryui Bynn, Andy and Jun Man. Fun, to say the least -- this simplified version of baseball. Learnt quite a bit here and there, and off we go for a 4-on-4 basketball. It’s fun I tell ya!
All in all… I’m pretty much exhausted now, for two days consecutively. My parents are much worried about SPM than me, so that isn’t exactly helping, but with Toshi around for these couple o’ days, I’m sure it’ll keep my mood up for some time. I haven’t felt this hyped up for some good round of sports for some time.
